According to the forecast, there is a high probability of seeing the northern lights in the Kiruna area on the nights of March 8-10, 2023.
The KP index is a measure of the strength of the geomagnetic storm that is causing the aurora. A KP index of 5 or higher is considered to be a good time to see the northern lights. The forecast for the next three nights shows a KP index of 5 or higher, which means that there is a good chance of seeing the aurora if the sky is clear.
