Aurora Forecast for Northern Lights in Sweden

The KP index is a measure of the strength of the geomagnetic storm that is causing the aurora. A KP index of 5 or higher is considered to be a good time to see the northern lights. The forecast for the next three nights shows a KP index of 5 or higher, which means that there is a good chance of seeing the aurora if the sky is clear.

If you are planning to travel to Kiruna to see the northern lights, be sure to check the weather forecast before you go. The aurora is best seen on clear nights, so if there is cloud cover, you may not be able to see it. You should also dress warmly, as it can be cold in Kiruna, even in the summer.
